The Anthemis nobilis plant (also known as Chamaemelum nobile) belongs to the Asteraceae family, growing between 8 inches and 12 inches high with creeping stems that grows at the surface of the soil, connecting the plants to each other. The leaves are small leaflets that grow in opposing directions from each other, forming a thick green ground cover. The flower has white petals with a yellow center. 

Roman Chamomile is often used by gardeners as a "companion plant" to grow alongside fruits and vegetables and help protect their health. It has anodyne compounds that may help aid digestion and soothe muscles.
