Smoky Quartz is a variety of quartz known for its translucent brown to deep gray coloring. Its smoky appearance comes from natural irradiation and the presence of aluminum, giving it a unique ability to absorb and transmute unwanted energy. While it shares the same base structure as Clear Quartz, Smoky Quartz leans more toward grounding and stabilizing.
One of my most treasured pieces is a natural point cluster loaded with rutile that I received as a gift from Kari. The golden strands within the Smoky Quartz add a striking energy of illumination and movement.
